At Earwig studios with Jason Groce

 

I was recently asked to perform a sax solo on a beautiful new song in the works by local artist Jason Groce. Don Farwell and I have collaborated on tracks for Now or Ever & Fast Nasties previously but this was the first time we collaborated outside my “family-band” circle. Turns out that Letters From Traffic, Herb & Jellyfish, and Jason Groce all played a gig together at the Substation on 6/12/2016! It’s sometimes a pretty small music scene here in Seattle but I love that everything is so inter-connected. Five years ago Earwig Studio captured Jason Groce performing the song ‘History’ live in-studio, check it out below.
