Champagne Sunday is husband and wife Jessi and Jared Fredeen, and together they perform with the kind of energy that makes a coffee shop feel like an arena. Their self-described "glam-folk" sound covers a lot of ground in a single set — gypsy-punk rock songs, intimate tear-jerkers, anthemic foot-stompers — all delivered with compelling stories woven between tracks and a showmanship that is equal parts polish and heart. Music Connection called them "the perfect example of following your bliss" and the assessment is hard to argue with. What sets Champagne Sunday apart is their ability to perform at the same intensity for a festival crowd, a club, or a house concert without adjusting the dial at all. The power comes from conviction, not volume. A singer/songwriter, composer, arranger, producer, designer, software developer, handyman, and multi-instrumentalist with 20 years of experience in live performance, studio recording, graphic design, band management, software development & testing, and production. Over the years, I’ve toured nationally, performed locally at notable venues like The Showbox, El Corazon, The Crocodile, Neumos, Barboza, The Substation, The Funhouse, and CenturyLink Field (for the Seahawks game day opener), and have been featured on the television series Band In Seattle. I’ve also worked for 19 years as a C# software engineer & tester for Microsoft, Adobe, Real Networks, UPS (iShip), and several other smaller companies.
