Independent songwriting. BUILT live. PERFORMED solo.

Polybanderous is an independent songwriting project built around repetition, restraint, and uncomfortable questions.

I build the tracks on a Boss RC-600, then perform guitar, sax, and vocals live. If a song makes the cut, I produce it myself with Don Farwell at Earwig Studio for release through my website and Bandcamp.

Burden of Excess blends rock, pop, and soul into an honest portrait of creative overload. Written and produced by Polybanderous while juggling four bands and too many side jobs, it’s proof that art still thrives under pressure — and sometimes because of it.

about

Polybanderous is a famously unknown songwriter who’s achieved middling success on the Seattle scene in more bands at more gigs to fewer people than seems possible. He blends guitar, vocals, and saxophone into a mix of alternative, soul, rock, and pop originals — sometimes all at once, sometimes on purpose.

Built on live looping, layered instrumentation, and a refusal to pick just one genre, Polybanderous performances celebrate collaboration and imperfection — the things that make music feel human.

He’s played just about everywhere from small clubs to big stages, always walking the line between self-deprecation and sincerity. Come witness his slow fade to obscurity — or, if you prefer, his ongoing attempt to dodge it entirely.
